This Privacy Policy describes how Spreadsheet Challenges collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use spreadsheetchallenges.com. Last updated 23 September 2026. If you sign in with Google, the Google User Data section applies specifically to data we receive from Google.
Spreadsheet Challenges lets you create an account and sign in with Google. This section describes the Google user data we access, how we use it, who we share it with, how we protect it, and how long we keep it.
When you choose Sign in with Google, our authentication provider (SuperTokens) requests the openid and email scopes. From that, we receive your Google account email address, whether Google has verified that email, and a unique Google account identifier.
We do not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, Google Sheets files, or other Google Workspace content. We do not call Google Workspace APIs.
We use this information to create your account and sign you in, show you your own email on your profile and confirm account deletion, and, if you start a paid subscription, create a Stripe billing customer with that email.
We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it for targeted, personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising. We do not give it to data brokers or information resellers. We do not use it to determine credit-worthiness or for lending. We do not use Google user data or Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or ML models. We do not send your Google email to an email-marketing service.
We share your Google email, and where needed your Google account identifier, only with service providers that help us run this product: SuperTokens stores your login identity and session; Stripe receives your email if you subscribe to a paid plan.
Supabase stores activity under an internal account id from SuperTokens. It does not store your Google account identifier, and it does not store your Google email as an account field. If you send in-app feedback, the server can copy the email from SuperTokens metadata into that feedback row. Existing feedback rows do not contain an email.
We do not transfer or disclose Google user data to third parties for advertising, data brokerage, or any purpose other than providing or improving Spreadsheet Challenges. GoatCounter analytics does not receive your Google account data.
We keep your Google email and Google account identifier for as long as your Spreadsheet Challenges account exists.
You can delete your account from Header → Profile → Settings → Delete account. You must confirm with your exact account email and the word DELETE. If you cannot sign in, email info@spreadsheetchallenges.com. Deletion removes your SuperTokens login (including Google identity), billing customer links in Stripe, your username, public leaderboard row, feedback, and uploads. De-identified challenge and activity history remains in Supabase for aggregate statistics.
Supabase is our application database. User rows are keyed by an internal SuperTokens account id, not by your Google email or Google account identifier.
For an account, Supabase can store: the username you choose; problem completions, scores, and hints used; activity events such as views and attempts; learning-path progress; achievements; challenge submissions; streaks; in-app notifications; dashboard-challenge progress; feedback text and the page URL; and a public leaderboard cache of username, score, and rank. Uploaded solution files are stored on our application server, not in Supabase.
We collect your account email (entered by you, or received from Google or GitHub if you sign in that way). SuperTokens stores that email. We also collect the username you choose, challenge progress, scores, achievements, activity events, feedback, and files you upload. GoatCounter collects basic anonymous analytics and does not receive your account email or Google account identifier.
We use SuperTokens for authentication, Stripe for payments, Supabase as the application database, and GoatCounter for analytics.
